No. Medicare does not cover non-medical home care services.

When hiring a private caregiver, you become the employer of the caregiver which means you are responsible for all state and federal payroll taxes. You need Workers Compensation Insurance to cover you for any claims if the private caregiver gets injured while working at your home. You will also be responsible if claim for disability is filed against you.

It will become your task to supervise, train, ensure they are safe to be with and free of any infectious diseases. Add to the list the hiring of a substitute caregiver if in case the private caregiver will not show up for whatever reason, or be prepared to be alone without care.

Yes. You can choose to receive either short term or long term care. We listen to, and understand your problem and able to provide competent guidance in order for our services to meet your needs. We will work with you to create a plan of service tailored to address your needs.

Services need not be discontinued because we can transition with you. We will work with you and the receiving facility to continue providing the services you need.

No. You never have to pay caregivers directly. You or your authorized representative are invoiced bi-weekly. For other billing options please talk to the care manager assigned to you.

Edren Home Care at the moment only accepts personal checks and money orders. Talk with our office for payment options.

Yes. For continuity and quality of care there is an on-call person available to help you even after business hours.

No. You don't need a physician’s order for our services. You choose the services you want, when to start those services and the frequency these services are provided.

Edren Home Care management and staff strictly adhere to all applicable federal and state guidelines pertaining to privacy of personal and health information beginning from the initial meeting. This means no unauthorized individuals will be given access to client’s information without a formal consent from the client or legally authorized representative.
